ROCK YOUR RACK 2020
October 3 – October 18, 2020

This 8th annual fundraising event combines SL Designers (all are welcome), SL Music, SL Artists and SL entertainment into one 14 day event to raise funds and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Coordinated and managed by Models Giving Back, SL’s premier charity modeling agency, this event not only is a success in terms of raising funds for the charity, but also in promoting musicians, DJ’s, artists and designers to new customers and fans that may not have known about them before. All of those who participated last year expressed very positive results from being a part of this event.

The event will feature booths for shopping, a 10L hunt, live performances from Live Artists, DJ dance parties, an art exhibit by our participating photographers/artists, dance exhibitions and lots more!

The time has arrived for registration to open for the 2020 event. We have several opportunities for involvement with this year’s event, and all registrations will occur online through our blog: https://rockyourrack.wordpress.com

Seeking Media Partners, Landscape Designers/Decorators and Tribute Bands!

Rock Your Rack 2020 is ready to take shape for this year! “Gardens of Hope” is our theme and before we open to Designer Registration we have a few need to get into place for this year’s event. Please see the needs below and contact Jamee Sandalwood inworld via NC if you are interested in helping with these roles:

1. MEDIA PARTNERS – We always need more media partners to help us get the word out about the event. Media partners have their logo on the ad as you can see above, have a kiosk at the landing point of the event, logo at the music venues and fashion runway, as well as have your brand mentioned by hosts at the events. Contact Jamee Sandalwood for a Media Partner information NC inworld for more details.

2. Landscape Designer/Decorators – In order to have our vision of “Gardens of Hope” come to fruition this year, we are seeking landscape or home and garden designers/creators and or landscape decorators to partner with us and decorate portions of the event. Please contact Jamee Sandalwood inworld for a NC explaining all the requirements and the sponsorship advertising you receive in return for your assistance with the event.

3. Tribute Bands – If you have a tribute band in Second Life, we would love to have you perform on our amazing one of a kind concert stage build by a RL musician that has a full light show equaled by none in SL. We are currently booking in the tribute bands to slots throughout the event before we open musician registration for the event. Please contact Jamee Sandalwood inworld for more information and to see what is still available.

It’s That Time of Year! Work has started on the 8th Annual Event!

Our theme this year is “Gardens of Hope”. Each area of the event will be a garden of Eden theme and we are currently seeking home and garden designers that would like to be responsible for working with us and our design vision to create one of the sections of the event. These builders/designers would create the lush garden area of the event for: main shopping area, musical and performance venue area (concert stage excluded), art gallery area, and the landing point area if our sim sponsor declines this opportunity. In exchange for helping with the build, the sponsor fee will be waived, and your logo will be included on all advertising for the event, and you would be able to place vendors for the items you use that are your creations throughout the design area if you choose, or in a provided shop in the area you design. For more information on this opportunity, please contact Jamee Sandalwood inworld.

Media Partners Sought for RYR 2020

Rock Your Rack 2020 presented by Models Giving Back is rapidly approaching. This year’s two week event will take place from October 3 – October 18, 2020.

The theme for our 8th Annual Event is ” Gardens of Hope “.

As always we will have a variety of fashion related and entertainment related activities as well as art. Our goal this year is to create different islands for each theme – Art, Fashion, Music/Entertainment and visitors will travel between the islands that will each be designed/decorated by different landscape artists/companies in SL. This is not just a women’s fashion event!

We are currently looking for Media Partners to partner with us to make this year’s event a success and outdo our $2400USD donation from last year to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

There is no fee to be a media partner for this event, all we ask is that you help us with the following items:
1. Spread the word when the different levels of registration open for the event – this can be via FB, social media, an AD in your publication, inworld groups
2. Advertise leading up to the opening of the event – Place our monthly RYR AD (it changes month to month) from April through October into your publication.
3. Spread the word in social media, and inworld groups upon opening of the event.
4. Anything else you feel would be helpful to our fundraising efforts – interviews, articles etc. We will provide you early access on Media Day as well for photos.

In Exchange for this – we as Rock Your Rack/MGB will provide the following for you –
1. Listing as Media Partner on our official website https://rockyourrack.wordpress.com
2. Placement of your Logo on ALL official AD’s for the 2020 event (can’t promise this will happen for partners joining after July 31)
3. Placement of your Magazine/information giver at the Landing point of the event
4. Mention in the opening of all fashion shows held during the event as a media partner
5. Placement of your Logo in The shopping areas/runway/DJ Dance Party areas on media partner designated boards.

If you would like to partner with us please fill out the NC and send it back to Jamee Sandalwood.

(contact Jamee Sandalwood inworld for the NC)

Please visit our website which has much of the information from last year’s event sill in the archives and see if partnering with us is something you feel works for your publication. We would love to have you as part of the Media presence for this year’s event.

If you have questions, please contact Jamee Sandalwood for more information.

Thank you for your consideration and assistance with this very worthy cause –
