Rock Your Rack has officially ended for this year! I want to thank everyone that helped us reach new heights for this event this year – we shattered our old fundraising record for the event –
Totals – $2529 USD in the donation portal directly
$692,655 L which is approx $2880 USD before fees etc. to get it out.

So we will donate approximately $5100 USD total when it’s all done.

Brad Tylman – what a partnership there. I’m still so thankful you took one look at my sorry stage almost 5 years ago now and came on board. It’s so fun to work with you and I’m in awe of your stage building talents. Two stages this year, three for next year slated already. It’s a ride for sure!

Roxy (ChrysTeRox Resident) I want to thank you so much for helping to decorate and make the sim look fantastic this year. Looking forward to working together from the get go next year on a plan for the sim.

Amaya (AmayaElessar Resident) the landing point was amazing as always and was my favorite place to hangout and work before, during and now after the event. I will be sad when it finally has to be taken down. Thank you and I too look forward to working with you again next year.

Finally to my wonderful husband and partner in all of this Matt. Your love and support through all of this is what has kept me sane, on track and focused. I love you so much and am glad you are there every step of the way to make this happen.

8th Annual Rock Your Rack Event is on the way!

Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women. 1 in 8 women, and an every increasing percentage of men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.

Models Giving Back is pleased to present Rock Your Rack, an annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music, Art and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.

This year’s event will support the National Breast Cancer Foundation which provides free mammograms, education, support and early detection services to anyone in need.

And, of course, the very popular 10L hunt will be up and running in the 65+ different designer booths and 35+ different artist booths.

About Models Giving Back

Models Giving Back is an agency of professional, certified SecondLife models who give of their time and talents to raise funds for legitimate and verified SL and RL charities.

Models Giving Back was founded in October of 2012 by Jamee Sandalwood after a previous agency dedicated to charity work was forced to close due to the owner leaving SecondLife. Jamee felt the work that was being done needed to be continued and set out to lead the models that were already a part of the former agency into new and bigger endeavors at the newly created Models Giving Back.

To date the agency has partnered with dozens of designers and provided models for runway, print and other functions that support charities around SL.
