Final SL Withdrawal Underway

As promised – the remaining funds were processed and withdrawn from SL. We sold the remaining $130,330L (amount left after paying for advertising with SeraphimSL for next year). That amount was then added to the funds left from last month and the final amount of $1121.79 after all fees come out is being processed. Once it hits our Paypal we will donate that amount to the portal and post it here.

  1. Hi Jaimee,

You rock! I miss you all and hope to be back to SL soon. My mom died on May 8. It was so hard to lose her after caring for her for 12 years. Of course, it was cancer that finally took her life. I am still caring for my second Dad (I lost my 1st Dad in 2012, also to cancer). I have given up so many years to care for people with cancer. No regrets for caring for the ones I love but I have many laments about the cancer. It’s so sad to see how they suffered. I appreciate all that you do. My first cousin is just finishing radiation after chemo and mastectomy for IBC. She has a 9-year-old daughter.

Yes, I miss SL so much, but I had to take a break to handle all of this tragedy. It is hard not to be a downer for everyone when you are going through this. I didn’t want to bring others down, so I left for a while. Plus, it has given me the time I needed to spend with my loved ones as they departed this life. Prism, of course, if closed, and my sim sits idle. I pay it every month and let it languish as it awaits my return. If you need to borrow it, just let me know.

Jaimee, thank you again for all of your dedication and hard work. You are amazing. Always remember how much you are appreciated. My mom’s meds over the past two years on a clinical trial from leukemia of the blood were $53k a month. Without a grant from the cancer foundation, she would not have had those additional two years of life. And the advances in treating leukemia in diabetics, especially in children, would not have been made. My Mom is a hero that most will never know about — but so many kids will benefit from it because many diabetics cannot handle chemo. That is WOW! Thank you, Mom!

Always your friend and fan! Journey McLaglen (Cindy Landers)
