RYR Art Show Guidelines & Terms

TERMS & REQUIREMENTS:
-You will be required to have 2 new and original art pieces in your own vendors that are set to 100% Rock Your Rack.  Split script will be provided. Only 1 required for 3D artists.  You may set up more pieces up to your limit with no split required.
– 2D Artists – You will be allowed 30 prims to set up artwork and decoration in your display area.   

-Rock Your Rack is committed to showcasing hands-on art creation skills.  This includes RL art or photography, as well as SL art or photographic art using the camera controls to manipulate and take photos.  To this end artwork or photography that is wholly AI generated, or excessively AI enhanced would not be acceptable for this event.  SL photography artwork should represent SL as it appears in the SL viewer.
– 3D artists will be allotted a space to rezz their items minimum 6m X 10m but will not be determined until the build is completed. 
-All 3D artists are allotted 75 prims
-All items must follow the Second Life TOS and Community Standards
-All items must be moderate/mature/PG/G in rating, NO adult themed art
-All items must be priced a minimum of 250L’s (you can price the pieces higher)
-No auto group joiners, chat spammers, or announcers (you are allowed a touch group joiner)
-No particle machines or hover text
-You must join our rezz group to rezz
-You must use our 100% split script in your two items that are 100% donation items. You may set more items to 100% donation if you choose.  Alternately, a 50% split script will also be available to use on items other than your two 100% donation items if you choose to.
– Note:  booths are pre-assigned according to order of registration.

Upon registration –
   If accepted, you will receive a NC confirmation and invitation to the Artist group when your registration is processed.  Please do not leave this group until after the event closes and we are cleaned up.  On or about October 5, 2026.

August 15, 2026 – Artist Registration Closes

September 16 – September 23, 2026 : Artist Set up

Wednesday, September 23, 2026:  Set up Deadline 6pm SLT

Thursday, September 24, 2026: Media Preview Day

Friday, September 25, 2026: Rock Your Rack Opens

Sunday, October 4, 2026: Rock Your Rack Closes

October 5-6, 2026: Clean Up of Sim
