Thursday night at Rock Your Rack 2017 we had a fantastic repeat performance of the Melissa Ethridge tribute concert! The Hiess Project team did an amazing job as always, and our performer entertained the crowd of about 25 guests for an intimate performance of all the Melissa Ethridge favorites. Did you miss this? Well, don’t miss Lifehouse/Daughtry Saturday night at 8pm on the Rock Your Rack Concert Stage!
On Sunday, October 1st we had two exciting concerts on our Concert Stage at Rock Your Rack 2017 – D.R.U.M. and Toxie Darkmatter! D.R.U.M. drummed their way through set changes that took us all around the world to experience native rhythms from different lands. Toxie had a matching donation challenge and even auctioned herself off for a 1 hour concert to the guest that donated the most during her hour. Together these two shows raised over 35,000L in the two hours they were on stage! Who’s going to top that over the two weeks of the event! Rock Your Rack Art Show and Auction
The 2017 Rock Your Rack Art Show and Auction in support of Rock Your Rack opened on Saturday, September 30th, 2017, and will run through until Saturday, October 14th, alongside the main Rock Your Rack 2017 events.
Rock Your Rack is the annual fund-raiser started in October of 2012 by Jamee Sandalwood and the team at Models Giving Back for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). Founded in 1991, NBCF’s mission is to help women in the United States by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services. NBCF is also joining hands with organisations around the globe to provide breast cancer education.

Rock Your Rack is proud to be in partnership with the Hiess Experience, SL’s leading tribute concert experience. We are working together again this year to provide Rock Your Rack attendees with amazing experiences including digital sound, high quality performers on stage and a truly fun concert going experience. We have expert stage builder and RL musician Brad Tylman helping us out with the stage itself and the amazing light show that accompanies each concert. All in all you won’t find anything like it anywhere in SL, and it’s something everyone looks forward to at Rock Your Rack each year.
Our first concert of the year was Beyoncé. What an amazing all female band backing up Beyoncé for this concert! Well done Ladies! Two hours of fantastic music, dancing and interaction that would have done Beyoncé herself proud.
