Rock Your Rack 2014 is now officially closed!  I’m Happy to Report that  Rock Your Rack 2014 will be donating $2025 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  The Process has begun to make the donation.  I will post the donation receipt here.    The Final Linden total was $537,907L  which after processing fees for both Linden and Paypal translated to approx. $2022.  I will round it up to $2025.  Plus we had a private donation of $50USD already made to our donation site, and there will be some settling of accounts that will allow us to make a smaller donation one month from now as those donations settle.  Thank you to everyone who helped, shopped, donated, entertained, designed, modeled, photographed and anything else I’ve missed.  We could not have done this without all of you – see you in 2015 for the 3rd Annual  Rock Your Rack!

There are just 24 hours left to enjoy the events at Rock Your Rack 2014.  Be sure to get the exclusives that give 100% of donations to the Cause!  Be sure to get those 10L hunt items that give 100% to the cause!  Be sure to visit the Gacha areas!  Be sure to visit the 64 designer booths!  And be sure to not miss the closing Fashion show at 6pm SLT at the main runway.  We would like to thank everyone that has participated and helped with the fundraising efforts.  Watch this blog for the final totals to be posted after the event closes.

It’s exciting! I’ve toured the sims, the designers are moving in, the models are rehearsing, the gacha areas are being set up and the concert venue/dance party venue are ready to go! Everyone is excited, and we can’t wait to share this event with all of you! Rock Your Rack 2014 officially opens to the public on Monday, September 1 at 12:00 midnight – and all the LM’s will be posted right here for you at that time! The bloggers are giving you sneak peaks of the items available, and I know I will be there shopping for a VERY worthy cause. Be sure to bid on one of the silent auctions too – some of those items are ONE OF A KIND! You will be the only one wearing it around SL. Look at the other pages of this blog for photos of the items you will be able to find, as well as a detailed listing of musicians that have partnered with us this year. Rock Your Rack 2014 is the place to be from Sept. 1 – Sept. 15. See you there!

 

Due to some unexpected circumstances, three of our designers that were to participate in Rock Your Rack have had to withdraw from the event.

Therefore, I have three Bronze level booths available for the event that runs from:  September 1 – September 15.  There is no booth cost to participate on the Bronze level – and here are the particulars:
* provide 1 exclusive item at 100% donation to the cause
* provide 1 10L hunt item at 100% donation to the cause
* All other items at a minimum of 30% donation to the cause
* Bronze Sponsors will be provided 1 regular sized booth (10m X 10m) with 30 prims available for vendors and
decorations
* Designer Logo will be on their assigned booth, on the blog in the designer gallery on the main page and designer page
* The exclusive item provided (if fashion related) will be in a minimum of 1 event fashion show with designer notified of
show date/time.
* Option to provide an item for the Silent Auction at 100% donation
* Provide the exclusive item and any others you choose to the official Rock Your Rack Bloggers (list will be provided)
* Option to participate in the Gacha! event with 7% of Gacha sales going as a donation to the event, the rest kept by the
designer.

We also have the option of including  you only in the Gacha or the Silent Auction as well if you wish – contact Jamee Sandalwood for details on how to participate in those.
